The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), situated in Golden, Colorado, is that the United States' primary laboratory for renewable energy and energy potency analysis and development. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is a government-owned, contractor-operated facility, and is funded through the United States Department of Energy (DOE). This arrangement permits a non-public entity to operate the research laboratory on behalf of the federal government under a major contract. NREL receives funding from Congress to be applied toward research and development projects. NREL conjointly performs research on photovoltaic (PV) under the National centre for Photovoltaic. NREL incorporates a variety of PV research capabilities as well as research and development, testing, and preparation.
