Faten Tamim is affiliated to University of Jordan. she is a recipient of many awards and grants for her valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of subject research. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.

Background: High rates of vitamin D deficiency in Jordan are alarming especially when they are associated with obesity during pregnancy.

Objectives: To investigate the effect of vitamin D supplementation for obese pregnant women on gestational diabetes and diabetes biomarkers.
