To keep pace with the global revival of nuclear power, safety has to be at the fore front. It requires continuous improvement in the safe operation of nuclear power plants (NPPs) and other establishments and also managing the nuclear wastes. Keeping this as the theme, JNPGT announces a Special Issue titled, "Global Radiation Safety Concern and Management of Radioactive Waste". While the world is still suffering from the past nuclear cataclysm, the endeavour for a safer nuclear technology in all its prospects is requisite. The new generation NPPs have a lot to assure to remain in the race of the sustainable energy. Radioactive waste arising from nuclear power generation, as well as from medicine, industry and scientific research poses a potential hazard over extended periods of time and must therefore be isolated from the human environment. Journal of Nuclear Energy Science & Power Generation Technology (JNPGT) invites the scientists all over the world to exchange their ideas and recent research through this special issue. The special issue features original research, review articles, letters to the editor, books, literature reviews, and communications in brief. Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:
