The Fukui International Human Resources Development Center for Atomic Energy (Fukui HRDC) was founded in April,2011 in Fukui, where there are 13 commercial nuclear power plants and the research facilities such as “Monju”, to contribute to the enhancement of nuclear safety technology and human resource development worldwide focusing on developing countries in Asia. Fukui HRDC organizes training courses, workshops, seminars, and train trainers course for human resource development (HRD) of both developing countries and Japan. These programs are prepared in collaboration with nuclear power companies, research institutes , universities in Fukui.
