Wendy Demark-Wahnefried, PhD, RD is associate director for cancer prevention and control with the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center, as well as a professor of nutrition sciences. Her training includes a background in biochemistry, genetics and behavioral science, and she has conducted some of the largest studies exploring metabolic and body composition changes in response to cancer treatment.
