Biography
Francois X. Claret received his PhD from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland and did his postdoctoral training at the University of California San Diego studying JNK/MAP Kinase cell signaling. He is currently an Associate Professor at MD Anderson and his research focus is on understanding the molecular basis of cancer, especially identifying the cell signaling that leads to oncogene activation and cell cycle dysregulation. He has published over 70 papers and he has been serving as an Associate Editor of the Frontiers in Cancer Molecular Targets and Therapeutics - FrontiersIn and on the editorial board of PLoS ONE.
