Abstract

It feels immense pleasure to share that the Journal of Nanomaterials and Molecular Nanotechnology issue release frequency has been changed to bimonthly (6 issues per year). The first issue of the journal was published in the year 2007 and since then it is growing continuously and publishing a sufficient number of articles in each issue successfully. The main objective of the journal is to publish high-quality, authentic, and up-to-date research going on in the field of Nanotechnology. Journal of Nanomaterials and Molecular Nanotechnology is a hybrid open-access journal, allowing the publication of articles in the subscription as well as in open-access mode. The Journal of Nanomaterials and Molecular Nanotechnology is a bimonthly journal and publishes articles in English and every article is rigorously peer-reviewed and is published online within 30 days after acceptance. Its Editorial board is composed of renowned foreign researchers from different areas of Engineering and Chemistry. The Editorial Board comprises one Editor-in-Chief and 42 Editors, and each holding higher qualifications in their respective fields.

The Journal of Nanomaterials and Molecular Nanotechnology is a bimonthly journal and publishes article in English and every article is rigorously peer-reviewed and is published online within 30 days after acceptance. Its Editorial board is composed of renowned foreign researchers from different areas of Engineering and Chemistry. The Editorial board comprises one Editor-in-Chief and 42 Editors, and each holding higher qualifications in their respective fields.

The Journal publish articles that focus on the topics like Nanoscience, Nanofabrication techniques, Molecular Nanotechnology, Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology, Nanosensors and Nanomaterials. All articles that are published with the Journal are included in the indexing and abstracting coverage of Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, J-Gate, COSMOS, Sherpa Romeo, Crossref, Genamics Journal Seek, Journal TOCs and Nano Biotech.

During the calendar year 2019 and mid-2020, The Journal of Nanomaterials and Molecular Nanotechnology received a total 60 papers, out of which 17 articles were rejected in the preliminary screening check due to plagiarism or being out of the scope of the journal. A total of 35 articles are published from January 2019 to July 2020 from authors belonging to different geographical locations across the world.

Dr. Dennis W. Smith, Jr., Editor-in-Chief, received his Ph.D from University of Florida and is currently serving as Head of Department of Chemistry in the Mississippi State University. His polymer research is internationally renowned for fluoropolymer science and technology. Among his other accomplishments, Dr. Smith has published 143 refereed journal articles (H>40), over 300 conference papers, and has been invited to lecture over 200 times in 23 countries. He currently holds 28 issued or pending US patents. His professional interests include technology transfer, chemistry/materials research, entrepreneurship and research interests include synthesis, properties, and integration of material solutions used for optical, communications, renewable, surface tailored and composite applications.

On behalf of the Editors of the Journal of Nanomaterials and Molecular Technology, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the Editorin- Chiefs and Associate Editors for contributing and lending their support in successful publications of the articles. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors for disseminating their research through our platform, reviewers for giving their valuable comments within the stipulated time frame and the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of the Journal. The reviewers receive no remuneration for their work and still took out time from their busy schedules to read and evaluated manuscripts submitted to the Journal from December 2019 to July 2020. The editors greatly appreciate the contribution of reviewers who have dedicated their valuable time and efforts in reviewing the assigned manuscripts, which is crucial to the journal’s editorial decision-making process.
