Journal of Food and Nutritional Disorders is a scientific, peer-reviewed, academic journal which promotes rigorous research that makes a significant contribution in advancing knowledge and provides important forum for researchers and scholars to exchange their knowledge on current advancement in food Science and research, nutrition and its disorders. I am pleased to announce the key-point during the year of 2019, all issues of volume 8 were published online within the time frame and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online.

During the year of 2019, Journal of Food and Nutritional Disorders also brought out various conferences globally. The JFND Journal had successfully completed and published total off eight conference proceeding. Some of the conference proceeding includes 18th World Congress on Nutrition and Food Chemistry, 2nd International Conference on Food Safety and Health, 5th International Conference on Food and Beverages and many more, which consisted of approx. 50 abstracts.

The impact factor for the year 2019 was 1.65. The Journal is listed with various indexing sites to standardized visibility and maintains publication standard. During the calendar year of 2019, JFND received a total of 40 manuscript, out of which 22 articles (55%) were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer-review process. During 2019 around 18 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. In the Volume 8, a total of 18 articles were published (at an average of 6 articles per issue) of which, articles were published from authors all around the world. Globally articles have been accessed by the research scientists and also cited.

During the calendar year 2019, a total of one Editor, three Reviewers joined the board of JFND and contributed their valuable services towards contribution as well as publication of articles.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of (Dr. Xingbin Yang) during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistant, in bringing out issues of JFND in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of JFND, the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of JFND and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 9 of JFND in scheduled time.
