The Institute was started on trial basis by Hon’ble Health Minister Rao Narender Singh on 1st September 2011 with 100 beds, open for the public with a team of 21 dedicated faculty members. The strength of the beds as well as Doctors grew at a very fast rate and today we have 450 beds for admission, state of art intensive areas with ventilators, Modular Operation Theaters and world Class labor room. Today the total strength of Doctors has also increased to 211. This Institute is unique in itself that the MCI after doing the intense inspection granted the permission to admit 100 girls’ students on 20.6.2012 without any objection. Hence, 100 girls’ students are pursuing the MBBS course in the campus. Another big leap was given to the Institute by sanctioning 40 posts of super specialty in one go to make the Institute as one of the role model in the country. Presently, the OPD strength has reached to nearly 1500-2000 per day with bed occupancy of more than 90%. The Intensive area created in the Institute of 40 beds, which are providing yeoman services to the poor and down trodden people. About 20 to 30 major surgeries are carried out every day. All types of Radiological blood etc. investigations are done with the most modern technology. This Institute already got approval for second batch of MBBS students and admissions procedure has already been completed.
