Southwest Hospital

Southwest hospital, the former Centric Hospital of the Kuomintang's government in old China, was established in 1929 in Nanjing. After several migrations during wartime, she finally settled in Chongqing and was renamed as "Southwest Hospital" in 1951. 80 years of cultivation has turned her into a major general hospital of medicine, education and scientific research in the region. She is now the first affiliated hospital and first college of clinical medicine of Third Military Medical University. She now has 2,500 beds in possession and equipments equivalent of ￥900,000,000. Each year, 2,110,000 out-patients and 90,000 out-patients came for treatment, 45,300 surgeries are performed annually. Southwest Hospital had been rewarded with numerous titles such as: "Top 100 Hospital with Best Service", "Good Service Star in Southwest China Southwest" and "National model digital hospital", etc.
