Biography
Ms. Jiahui Xu is a Statistical Analyst in the Department of Biostatistics at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital located at Memphis TN, U.S.A. Ms. Xu received the Master of Science of Public Health degree in Biostatistics at Emory University and B.S. in Geology from Nanjing University. As a research scientist having been working at Nanjing University, Emory University, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, she has obtained extensive HIV-related research experience. For example, while Ms. Xu’s research focuses on processing next-generation sequencing data especially microbiome data, she has also compared thresholding in pipelines QIIME and DADA2 for analysis of microbiome data. As an extension, she contributed processing of microbiome data using QIIME to the project PrEP, Lube and the Rectal Mucosa in MSM at Risk of HIV, as a research scientist employed by Emory University. Ms. Xu’s professional interests are in the areas of HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases, microbiome data analysis, and now mainly the immunology research including clustering, co-localization and polarization.
