Introduction
Hotel management has undergone a transformative shift with the incorporation of technology in daily operations. From AI-powered concierge services to online booking systems, the hospitality industry is being reshaped to meet the demands of digital-era customers [1].
Smart Hotel Operations
Modern hotels are increasingly adopting IoT devices, AI, and automation to enhance guest experience and optimize operational efficiency. Smart rooms with voice-controlled lighting, temperature regulation, and digital assistants have become popular in luxury and mid-range hotels [2]. Moreover, hotel management software streamlines reservations, billing, and housekeeping operations [3].
Impact on Guest Satisfaction
Technology in hotel operations allows better personalization and responsiveness, leading to improved guest satisfaction. For instance, real-time feedback systems and mobile check-ins reduce wait times and improve customer service [4]. Many guests also prefer contactless services, especially in the post-pandemic era [5].
