Farzam Vazifehdan is an orthopedic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in spine surgery. He had restructured and integrated the spine unit to the neurosurgical department in the hospital of Koblenz for the Department of Spine Surgery/ Neurosurgery. Also now he is working in the restructuring part of the Spine unit in Diakonie Klinikum (Stuttgart).He started his career as Chief Staff surgeon in St. Josefs-Hospital, Wiesbaden, Germany. Currently his dedicated team consists of 4 spine consultants and 8 residents. 

His area of expertise is Degenerative spine, Tumor, Trauma. Currently his work is more focused on osteotomy surgery and Special interest relates to the research of the sagittal balance/imbalance of the lumbar spine and pelvis.
