Dr Merce Jorda is Medical Director in Clinical Laboratory Services -UMHC/SCCC and UM Hospital and professor of Clinical Pathology. He is awarded from Pathology Residents Teaching Award and Woman's Cancer Association award. Dr. Jorda is interested in all clinical and anatomic pathology fields; however, her expertise is focused on clinical and anatomical aspects of genitourinary tract and breast malignancies. She is also a part of the cytopathology team at the University of Miami Department of Pathology, where they especially see an extensive number of cytopathology breast cases due to the existence of the Taylor Breast Cancer Center and the Braman Family Breast Cancer Center.

Dr. Merce Jorda's research interests include genitourinary pathology and breast pathology.
