Dr. Monica T. Garcia-Buitrago is professor Clinical Pathology and Director of Gastrointestinal Pathology, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She is certified from American Board of Pathology, American Bd of Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology and American Board of Pathology-Cytopathology. She was awarded from Anatomic Pathology Teaching Award 2015, Anatomic Pathology Teaching Award 2011, Nephrology Teaching Award Pathology Core Curriculum Series 2011, Anatomic Pathology Teaching Award 2008, and First Place Pathology Microphotography 2003. Her main specialties are Pathology-Cytopathology and Pathology Anatomic & Clinical Pathology. Her Clinical Interests are Cytopathology and Gastrointestinal Pathology with emphasis in neoplasms and transplant pathology.
