Dr. Mohan TC graduated in 2005 from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, India and completed his post-graduation in plant biotechnology from the Institute of Agri-Biotechnology, Dharwad, India. In 2010, he obtained a prestigious La Caixa - Severo Ochoa International PhD fellowship and moved to Spanish National Centre for Biotechnology, Madrid, Spain for his PhD project. During his PhD, he worked on Arsenic (heavy metal) phytoremediation project to investigate the molecular mechanisms involved in arsenic stress tolerance in plants. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Warwick, School of Life Sciences, United Kingdom. His research mainly focusing on Elucidating molecular level details of the plant Borate transporter structure and function.
