Dr. Yakov Verkhivker, presently working as a professor in the  department of Canned Foods and Biotechnology at Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, Odessa, Ukraine. He has got an excellent research knowledge in the field of food processing and biotechnology and having 198 articles in professional journals, 50 patents, 3 professional book and still continuing his research work in this particular field.
