Biography
Jiquan Chen is a professor at Michigan State University. He is broadly interested in landscape ecology & ecosystem science (LEES). His research covers several ecological frontiers, including edge effects in fragmented landscapes, ecosystem carbon, water and energy fluxes, global change science, bioenergy crops, hydrometeorology, SocioEconomic-Ecological Systems, dynamics of urban systems, global change, and the role of institution in shaping landscape-regions under the changing globe.
