Dr. Valentine A. Nzengung is a Professor at University of Georgia, Department of Geology. Dr. Nzengung completed his Masters in Environmental Engineering and PhD in Environmental Geochemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA in 1993. Dr. Nzengung has authored various articles and book chapters.

Dr. Valentine A. Nzengung's research focuses on the development and evaluation of innovative technologies for the cleanup of water, sediment, and soils. Particular emphasis is placed on sorption and degradation of contaminants and immobilization of metals.
