Biography
He is professor at the Department of Pain Medicine, Division of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. He received his PhD degree in 1988 from The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston. His research is primarily focused on gaining a multidisciplinary understanding of the neurochemical and physiological consequences of peripheral injury and inflammation on neural activity in the CNS.
Research Interest
Dr. Andrzej Kurowski's research interest includes cardioanesthesiological side of the programme of surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation, critical care research, prognosis factors for unconscious patients following a sudden stopping of blood circulation prior to hospitalization.
