Dr. Aftab Ahmed is a Research Assistant Professor / Coordinator RI-INBRE Centralized Research Core Facility at University of Rhode Island, USA. Dr. Ahmed’s research interest is in protein purification and characterization. He is involved in research and training support to RI-INBRE participants and to the Rhode Island biomedical research community. In addition, he organizes and conducts various instructional seminars and training workshops dealing with various analytical techniques.

Research interests include purification and characterization of proteins including amino acid sequencing and mass spectrometry. Expertise in various analytical techniques employed in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences.
