Dr. Linda J Patrick is currently Dean and Associate Professor at the University of Windsor, Canada. Dr. Linda J Patrick completed her BSc from University of Windsor, MA from Central Michigan University, MSc from University of Windsor and PhD from McMaster University, Canada. Her areas of clinical experience include acute care, dialysis, intensive care, emergency maternal/child in Toronto, London and Windsor. Community nursing experience with the Victorian Order of Nurses and the Diabetes Wellness Centre in Windsor, Ontario. Previous teaching experience at St. Clair College, Windsor. Her current research is on Health Behaviours of Women Who Have Experienced Gestational Diabetes Using a Mixed Methods Approach, and Development and evaluation of nursing curriculum designed to ease transition to professional practice for baccalaureate preparing nurses in the final semester of a nursing program.

Research interests of Patrick includes Maternal/Child, Prevention of type 2 diabetes in women with previous gestational diabetes, Chronic disease management and improving health outcomes for women at risk for Type 2 diabetes after gestational diabetes, Pre-conceptual health promotion, Transition to professional practice issues.
