Dr. Jian Fu is the Associate Professor in the Department of Optical Engineering, Zhejiang University. Dr. Fu has completed his PhD from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou in 1999.He has completed Master of Engineering Thermal Physics at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou in 1995 and Bachelor of Engineering Thermal Physics at Chongqing University, Chongqing in 1992. Dr. Fu was in the Assistant position at Zhejiang University (1999-2003) and in 2003 promoted as Associate professor at Zhejiang University.

Dr. Fu research interest includes Quantum Information and Quantum Computation, Micro/Nano Optics including optical focusing, optical manipulation and cold atom trapping by using micro/nano optical devices, quantum optics-related interdisciplinary research areas.
