Biography

Timothy Craig is presently a Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Penn State University. He was educated and trained in the US Navy and started his academic career at the University of Iowa. Shortly thereafter he was invited to develop an Allergy Asthma and Immunology Program at Penn State University where he was successful in developing a state of the art Allergy Asthma and Immunology Section in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care. He is presently serving as the Section Chief, Program Director and oversees the Clinical Allergy Respiratory and Immunology Research Center at Penn State. His recognitions include; Vietnam Education Foundation Scholar, Board Member of the Mid Atlantic American Lung Association, Penn State University CRC Director for the Alpha-1- Foundation, Advisory Board Member for the Hereditary Angioedema Association, Past President of the PA Allergy and Asthma Association, Interest Section Chair for the AAAAI, Board Member of the ACAAI, Board Member of the AOBIM, Mid-Atlantic Governor for the Regional, State Allergy Associations, Co-Investigator for ACRN and AsthmaNet of the NLHBI and he has received many teaching awards.

Research Interest

Dr. Craig’s educational interests are Problem Based Learning and Team Based Learning and his clinical and research focuses on Respiratory and Immunologic Diseases that are secondary to protein deficiencies and asthma.
