Professor Chipot is a member of Imath at the University of Zurich and a fellow of the european academy of science. He is the author of more than 180 publications and 7 books. His fields of research include PDE's and their numerical computations. During the past years he directed 25 Ph.D thesis and has been invited in various universities worldwide.
