Dr. Jozef Oleksyszyn completed his PhD (1977) from Wrocław University of Technology. He completed his Postdoctoral studies from University of Michigan, Department of Chemistry and Georgia Institute of Technology, School of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Dr. Jozef Oleksyszyn worked in biotechnology companies in USA, Cortech Inc., OsteoArthritis Inc., and Dyax Inc. Since 2001 he is professor of Biochemistry and Head of Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Microbiology, Faculty of Chemistry, Wrocław University of Technology, in Poland. He has published more than 60 papers in reputed journals and is author of more than 30 patents.

Dr. Jozef Oleksyszyn research group focus on the rational design of new therapeutics and receiving anti-bacterial and anti-cancer and the development of new diagnostic methods, mainly based on the chicken IgY antibody.
