Dr. Madhusudhanan Narasimhan obtained his PhD degree in Biochemistry from University of Madras, Chennai, India. Dr. Narasimhan is currently working as a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Pharmacology and Neuroscience, Texas Tech University Health Science Centre, Lubbock, Texas, USA.

Dr. Madhusudhanan Narasimhan current research activities include therapeutic evaluation of natural, pharmacological compounds against alcohol induced neurodegeneration, gene regulation in brain cortex/neurons in animal model of fetal alcohol syndrome, involvement of miRNA in oxidative stress induced neurodegeneration, development of combinatorial therapy for neuroblastoma and astrocytoma.
