Research Interest
Raymond Syvitski research interests cover a broad range of topics focusing around the molecular level details of biomolecules and biomolecular interactions with particular emphasis on cancer and neurologically related drugs. By applying and developing magnetic resonance technologies, molecular dynamics (MD) computer simulations, and other physical techniques (e.g. electron microscopy), my research investigates the relationship among structure, dynamics, electrostatic interactions and function of biomolecules and/or macromolecular assemblies such as drugs, proteins, peptides and biological membranes.
