Dr. Unmana Sarangi having earned a Doctorate Degree in the area of International Trade/International Economics on the topic “Trade and Transfers of India with OPEC Countries : An Impact Study of Trade Policy Reforms”  is a self motivated economist with initiative. Have more than 25 years of research experience in working in both national level research institutions and national government as an economist in various capacities. Had worked in ‘International Macroeconometric Modelling – India Model Project’ with Professors K.Krishnamurty and V.N Pandit and Prof. L.R Klein, Nobel Laureate as the US co-operating scientist. Presently, I belong to the Indian Economic Service (IES) with openings in postings in various Ministries of Government of India. Prior to Ministry of Rural Development, I was working as an economist in Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi University Enclave, Delhi, INDIA.

In the areas of macro econometric modeling, macroeconomics, international trade/international economics, industrial economics, rural development, information economy and global Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) of economies.
