Biography

James Crawley was appointed the College first Program Director of Athletic Training in August 1998.James Crawley has completed his MEd in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from University of Virginia. Jim has overseen the Athletic Training Program’s through its candidacy stage and directed the Program towards initial accreditation by CAATE. Jim has brought a wealth of Athletic Training experience to his position as Program Director. This extensive experience included Athletic Training at The United States Military Academy, Monmouth University, and MARC Physical Therapy.James Crawley teaches Therapeutic Modalities, Therapeutic Exercise, Organization and Administration of Athletic Training, Pathology and Management of Athletic Injuries I & II and Introduction to Athletic Training. Additionally, he is responsible for program administration, student recruitment, student advisement, and curriculum review and academic planning. Jim also serves on several college committees. He is also the NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative and serves on the NCAA Division II Management Council, the Division II Degree Completion Award Committee, and the Competitive Safeguard & Medical Aspect of Sports Committee.
