Biography

Dr. José Ángel López Sánchez is Associate Professor at the University of Extremadura, Spain. He earned his B.A. (Hons) in Business Administration and M.A. in Marketing from the University of Extremadura and Ph.D. from the University of Oviedo, Spain. He has received grants from Programa José Castillejo (Ministry of Science and Innovation, Spain), Leonardo da Vinci Programme (European Union), Programa de Cooperación Interuniversitaria América Latina-España (Ministry of Foreign Policy and Cooperation, Spain), Pre-Doctoral Research Grant (Junta de Extremadura, Spain), Education Scholarship (University of Extremadura, Spain), and Socrates-Erasmus Programme (European Union). He has experience in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, including marketing communications, strategic marketing and sales management, among others. His papers have been published in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, Journal of Business-to-Business Marketing. He has also participated in R&D Projects financed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain, the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of Spain, and the University of Oviedo, and has also been a Visiting Scholar at the Aston Business School (UK) resourced and supported through the Aston Academy for Research into Management (AARM).
