Dr. Shunfu Hu is currently a professor of Department of Geography, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He was undergraduated and graduated at Nanjing University in 1985 and 1990 respectively. He earned his PhD in 1998 from University of Georgia. Before joining Southern Illinois University. Dr. Hu was an Assistant Professor at Department of Geography, University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. He serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Emerging Trends in Computing and Information Sciences and Editor for the Journals- Geography Online, International Journal of Information and Communication Technology Research and ARPN Journal of Systems and Software. He has about 30 refereed publications.
