Biography
Dr. Huaizhi Su is currently a Professor of Hydraulic Structure Engineering at Hohai University, Nanjing, China. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Hydraulic Structure Engineering in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He joined Hohai University in 2002, where he was involved in research on safety monitoring, risk analysis, and residual life prediction for hydraulic structure engineering. From 2010 to 2011, he was a Visiting Scholar with Washington State University, USA. By the year 2013, he has authored or co-authored over 150 papers in journals and international conferences. He won three Grade-II National Prizes for the Progress in Science and Technology, as well as three Grade-I, one Grade-II and one Grade-III provincial and ministry prizes for progress in science and technology.
