Dr. Stephanie Kwai Yee is a Research Assistant Professor / Honorary Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Stephanie is an expert, researcher, author in the field(s) of Identification, characterization, molecular profiling and therapeutic targeting of liver cancer stem cells. Dr. Stephanie has obtained her doctoral degree on Thesis: “Identification and Characterization of Tumorigenic Liver Cancer Stem/Progenitor Cells”. She was awarded the 2006-2007 Li Ka Shing Prize for the Best Ph.D. Thesis (Graduate School). She was also nominated for the 2007 Dr. KP Stephen Chang Gold Medal for the Best Ph.D. Thesis (Faculty of Medicine).

Dr. Stephanie Ma's research focuses on Identification, characterization, molecular profiling and therapeutic targeting of liver cancer stem cells, Molecular pathogenesis of liver cancer.
