Biography
Dr. Youssef Shiban is a professor of clinical psychology at the Private University of Göttingen, Germany. Having completed his Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Würzburg, Germany, in 2013, he worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Psychology (Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy) at the University of Regensburg from 2013 to 2018. He finished his habilitation at the University of Regensburg in 2017. His research interests lie in the field of clinical psychology with a special focus on anxiety and stress-related disorders, conditioning as well as virtual reality. Youssef Shiban has an active and productive program of research, with 28 publications and several conference presentations to date.
