Dr. Deborah Brosnan currently serves as Environment and Policy Scientist at the University of California Davis and professor of biology in the Department of Biology at Virginia Tech, Innovation Center. Dr. Brosnan is also the president at Brosnan Centre. She holds a PhD in marine science and has over twenty years of experience in crafting innovative, science-based solutions to environmental issues globally. Dr. Brosnan served as President/CEO and founder of Sustainable Ecosystems Institute; served as chair and in leadership positions for several non-profit and university boards, and guided organizations through strategic planning and growth. She is a Board member at Project AWARE and University of California Davis, SeaDoc Society.
