Dr. Qing-Lai Dang currently working as Professor at Lakehead University. Dr. Qing-Lai Dang received his Ph.D. in Tree Physiological Ecology at university of Albert from Department of Forest Sciences in1991, followed by M.Sc. in Silviculture/Forest Ecology at University of Alberta from Department of Forest Sciences in1988. He had more than 50 plus publications in his career.

Research interest of Qing-Lai Dang include Responses of trees and other woody plants to climate change.
