Dr. Rocha Lima’s research interests focus on the following areas: development and conducting of clinical trials, translational research, new drug development in cancer, tumor phenotype profiling as a prognosticator (collaborations with research labs in Genomics and Proteomics), and pharmacogenomics: SNPs (Nucleotide Polymorphism) and chemotherapy toxicity. His work is concentrated mainly in lung cancer and gastrointestinal malignancies.
