Biography
Dr. Weiming Yuan is an assistant professor working on molecular virology and viral immunology in the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Southern California in Loas Angeles, California. He received his Ph.D. degree in Molecular Virology at the University of Texas at Austin, specifically working on the virus-host interaction during influenza pathogenesis. He then had postdoctoral training in the Department of Immunobiology at Yale University School of Medicine where he initiated the work on the molecular mechanism and viral modulation of CD1d antigen presentation pathway. He is a member of American Society for Microbiology, American Society for Virology and American Association of Immunologists.
