Biography
Darren M. Scott is Associate Professor of Geography in the School of Geography and Earth Sciences, McMaster University where he is also a member of the Center for Spatial Analysis. Prior to his current appointment, Darren held an Assistant Professorship at the University of Louisville in the Department of Geography and Geosciences. Darren earned a PhD in Geography in 2000 from McMaster University and an MA in Geography in 1994 from the University of Western Ontario.
Research Interest
Darren M Scott research interests include active travel and physical activity, activity-based approaches to travel analysis and modeling, Built Environment, Geographic information systems for transportation (GIS-T), Global positioning system (GPS) for travel data acquisition, Integrated land-use and transportation models, micro simulation, spatial analytical issues, sustainable transportation and Time Geography.
